Technology

OSB board stands for Oriented Strand Boards, which is a board with oriented flat chips. It is a wood-based, a flat-pressed three-layer board, which consists of rectangular flat chips, which under the influence of high pressure and temperature, with application of synthetic resins as a binder, are pressed by hot rolling. It is the first wood-based board developed specifically for the construction industry.

Properties

Due to its resistance to air humidity, low water absorption and swelling, OSB board is particularly suitable for the construction of buildings in the frame technology. It has appropriate technical parameters in terms of strength that guarantee the stiffness and strength of the building structure. They are also perfect as a stiffening element for the production of upholstered furniture.

Application

OSB boards are perfect for sheathing of roof slopes, external and internal walls, floors, ceilings, I-beams. They are suitable for the construction of stairs, landings, catwalks, formworks for concrete elements, temporary fences, closing openings for doors and windows, construction of transport boxes and pallets, construction of exhibition stands, construction of walls in barracks, containers, ships and railway carriages.
